All in-person meetings have been cancelled until further notice.
Dear All,
In response to the COVID-19 situation in Oconee County, we recognize that health and safety are paramount to our team, our investors, our industry partners, and to Oconee County at large.
In following Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines to minimize large gatherings, the Oconee Economic Alliance has canceled or postponed all previously scheduled events and meetings until further notice.
As an added measure, our office will be closed for the time being, and our employees will work from home during this time. We will remain responsive to the needs of our investors, prospects and partners, as staff will be reachable by email and cellphone.
To our Board of Directors members, you will be receiving additional communications related to our regularly scheduled board meeting. At this time we still plan on hosting it virtually and not in person.
Rest assured, the work of economic development continues. In the last several weeks, we’ve received a number of project inquiries and are continuing to respond. Our team is also using this time to review and refine our marketing strategies and methods of engagement.
We will continue to monitor the situation, and we look forward to a return to the relational approach that drives our mission and value proposition.
Wishing you all the best, |
