The Oconee Economic Alliance (OEA) is pleased to announce the addition of Daja Dial as the Marketing and Communications Manager. A native of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Dial joins the OEA team after attending Clemson University and studying Women’s Leadership and Spanish.
Dial will manage the OEA’s overall marketing and communication strategy, as well as, provide oversight of the new digital ambassador program and various social media platforms. She will add a fresh outlook and aid in the innovation of new ways to produce and deliver the message, mission, and goals of Oconee’s economic development approach.
“I spent a year of my life serving our state and I am now thrilled to serve Oconee County and the State of South Carolina by showcasing how wonderful of a business community we have here,” stated Dial.
Dial began in late June and has recently launched the new ‘Did You Know’ campaign on social media; this thirty day campaign highlights thirty interesting facts about Oconee County and industry within the county.
“We are excited and fortunate to have Daja on the team sharing the message,” stated Christine Tedesco, chair of the Oconee Economic Alliance board of directors. “Oconee County and our surrounding area is ripe for growth and a person of her caliber makes an immediate impact in supporting the effort to continue to make it known that we are the “geography of opportunity.”
